Laurens School District 56 was awarded  the Carol M. White Physical Education Program grant from the US Department of Education. This grant will provide resources to help our district and schools develop a standards based, best practice K-12 physical education and nutrition education program. Students will be challenged to participate in 60 minutes of physical activity a day and to meet daily dietary guidelines.
