Welcome to Clinton High School! I am excited about the possibilities the new school year holds for all of us! This is my first year as principal of Clinton High School. My family and I moved to Clinton twelve years ago from Rock Hill, SC where I spent the first six years of my teaching career as a special education teacher at Clover Junior High School in York School District 2. I have been with Laurens School District 56 for the past twelve years and have previously served as the principal of M.S. Bailey Elementary School and Bell Street Middle School.
I have had the unique opportunity to work with the majority of the students at Clinton High School as their middle school principal and have even known some of our students since they entered our school system as 5K students. I know what our students are capable of individually and collectively and expect nothing but the best from them each day at school. Clinton High School is an amazing place to learn and grow as young adults! We are proud of our new school and the opportunities we are able to offer our students in academics, athletics, and extra-curricular activites. We are proud of our students' and teachers' achievements in state competitions. Our football team earned the 3 A state championship in 2009 and our Science Olympiad team has earned state championships for the past three consecutive years. Red Devil Pride is alive and growing in our school! So, get involved this year and be a part of it!
