Welcome to the CES Guidance website. Elementary school years set the tone for developing the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary for children to become healthy, productive adults. Through a comprehensive developmental counseling program, our counselor works as a team with the school, parents, and community to create a caring atmosphere in which a students' needs are met through prevention, early identification, and intervention. Our school counselor is a person who provides an atmosphere of safety, trust, and positive regard for all students.

Confidentiality Statement
In accordance with the ethical standards of the American Counseling Association and in an effort to best meet the needs of students, confidentiality will be maintained between counselor and student except in cases of imminent danger. The counselor will make a professional decision regarding what constitututes imminient danger. Appropriate persons/agencies will be notified if there is imminent danger to the student or another individual or if there is a suspicion of child abuse or neglect.
