EIA Teacher Supply Money

The Education Improvement Act allocation for teaching supplies is estimated to be $50,000 for the 2011-2012 school year.  During the budget adoption process, the school board posted on the district website the intention to utilize this allocation to save a teaching position, and subsequently passed such a motion at the June 2011 meeting of the school board by unanimous vote.
